Tibetan singing bowls have a long and sacred history, dating back to the time of the historical Shakyamuni Buddha, according to Tibetan oral tradition. This sound healing practice originated in Tibet and spread across the Himalayas in the 8th century A.D., alongside the teachings of Buddhism.
